The Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to new KC/IABC volunteers who have made outstanding contributions with their activities. The award recognizes exceptional enthusiasm and commitment to KC/IABC.

This year’s winner is someone who jumped in part way through the board year after one of our own needed to step down. After taking on one of the more difficult and time-consuming positions, she ended up taking it to a whole new level and has set the bar high for those who fill her position next. Connie was nominated by several people and was referred to as “amazing, intelligent, giving and supportive.” She is someone who always goes above and beyond for KC/IABC.
